Break into Tech offers a non-traditional mentorship model. We don't pair mentors directly with mentees. Instead, we provide students with a comprehensive list of mentors, complete with your bios and contact information to empower them in organic networking and to take ownership of their mentorship journey.

Rules

Be respectful.
Always be respectful when reaching out to your mentor because they are volunteering their time.

Be open-minded.
Approach your conversations with your mentor with an open mind. Be receptive to feedback and suggestions,

When reaching out to your mentor, be specific and come prepared with questions.

Be appreciative.
Show gratitude and appreciation to your mentor for their time and support. Send a thank you note !
